About My Art.

Creating isn’t something I choose to do - it’s something I’ve always needed to do to feel whole. It is fundamental to who I am and how I experience life.

My artwork lives between abstraction and representation, where feminine and masculine coexist. I’m interested in this duality in myself and other women - strength and tenderness, resilience and vulnerability, structure and letting go, beauty and grit.

Working primarily in acrylic paint, with elements of mixed-media, I build layer upon layer of paint to add depth and complexity which reflects our own layered nature and celebrates the full, messy, beautiful range of being a woman.
