About My Art.

Creating isn’t something I choose to do - it’s something I’ve always needed to do to feel whole. It is fundamental to who I am and how I experience life.

Art gives my life joy, purpose & balance. I strive to give others a similar sense of joy with my use of color, whimsy, and elements of surprise.

My desire to surprise and delight collectors stems from my long corporate retail career in brand marketing and public relations. My job entailed a lot of creative ideation and strategic planning with the goal of capturing the media’s attention and securing press coverage. By differentiating the national brand, I provided the press and shoppers with an experience that would engage and excite them.

I carry that same ethos into my artwork. Through my use of color, juxtaposition and adding little unexpected elements I want to create a visual treasure hunt for the viewer and leave them feeling a bit more joy and hope.
