I printed my Vaginas Rising series in 2016, just prior to the Me Too movement hitting full stride in 2017. It was my way to acknowledge that the time had come for women to rise.  The featured bold images of Venus de Milo, Statue of Liberty and Cleopatra speak to women’s natural beauty, innate sense of empathy and justice, and strength of leadership. When you hover over the image, you can see close up detail of the background filled with tiny silver fleur-de-lis, a visual metaphor for rising vaginas.
